Running StartUp Repair in the Repair Mode doesn't detect or fix any problems. I disabled "Fast Boot" in the bios settings. I still can't boot the pc in normal mode. In Repair Mode I tried rolling back to various previous restore points but none of that helped. I am able to start Windows in Safe mode and it appears that all my applications, files and folders are still there. The "Diagnosing your PC" option also fails Windows then tries to do an Automatic Repair, which fails. Booting the computer in normal mode gives me a blue-screen "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION" error. PC has not been able to boot up correctly. A few days ago, after a power failure I suspect, Windows 10 on the This Windows 10 PC was upgraded from Windows 7 during the "Windows 10 Free Upgrade" period (I skipped Windows 8).
